Overview

SandlotSharp (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using SandlotSharp, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, username, and display name you provide when creating an account or signing in via Google OAuth.
• Subscription and payment data: subscription tier, billing history, and subscription status. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — SandlotSharp never stores, sees, or has access to your card numbers or full payment details.
• Bet-tracking data: bets you voluntarily log using the tracker tool (matchup, odds, stake, result, pick type). This data is associated with your account and is never shared with third parties.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns, used to improve the service. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or behavioral ad networks.

Third-Party Services

SandlotSharp uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. pick emails if opted in)
• Anthropic — AI-generated pick reasoning (game data is sent to generate analysis text; no personal user data is included)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google account
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the data necessary for each service to function and do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

How We Use Your Data

• Providing and improving the SandlotSharp service
• Managing your subscription and processing payments via Stripe
• Sending daily pick emails, if you have opted in to receive them
• Displaying your bet-tracking history and performance stats to you
• Improving the scoring model using aggregated, anonymized outcomes

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

Cookies

SandlotSharp uses session and authentication cookies only. These are necessary for keeping you logged in and maintaining your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling cookies of any kind.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data (including bet history), you may request deletion by emailing us at kevin@sandlotsharp.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that some data (e.g., anonymized aggregated statistics) may be retained in a form that cannot be linked back to you.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and we never store plaintext passwords. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
